Tested at cryogenic temperatures (-269°C) in collaboration with ABB, the Canadian Space Agency, and Blue Sky Spectroscopy, Vantablack S-IR delivered an unprecedented level of light suppression in a spaceborne Fourier transform spectroscopy module.
