Are VBx coatings safe

Yes, once applied they do not represent a hazard to human health. The coating is solvent base, so full PPE should be worn at all times during application. Please see the VBx MSDS in the resources section

No, not at this time due to the coating being rated dual-use by the UK government. This also means that some end user applications or locations may require an export licence.

No, due to the optical cavities being blocked by airborne traffic or wildlife debris, this restricts their application to internal use.

SNS coats VBx 1 parts in its UK coating facility. It is also supplied under licence to manufacturers to integrate in their coating lines

VBx 2 is only supplied to specialist paint contractors who have been through an SNS training program. It cannot be sprayed using techniques developed for conventional paints.
